Outdoor canvas blinds

Outdoor Canvas Blinds

Outdoor canvas blinds are the workhorse of patio shading: a solid, weatherproof fabric that closes an opening completely against sun, wind, dust and rain. We manufacture and install them for homes, lapas, restaurants and outdoor dining areas across a 150 km radius of Johannesburg — including Pretoria, Midrand, Centurion and surrounds.

Every set is custom made in our own factory and fitted by our own installation team, backed by up to a 5-year guarantee on materials and a 2-year guarantee on mechanics and workmanship.

01

Built for South African weather

Docrill canvas is a heavy-duty, water-resistant acrylic-coated fabric chosen to take harsh Highveld sun, wind and summer downpours without stretching or tearing.

02

Real shade, real temperature drop

Unlike a mesh screen, canvas blocks sunlight completely — turning a hot patio, lapa or restaurant terrace into a usable space through summer and a wind-sealed one through winter.

03

Colour that lasts

UV-stable pigments and a full range of colours mean the blinds still match your home years later, instead of fading to a washed-out grey.

04

Made to measure, factory-direct

Every blind is cut and stitched in our own factory to your exact opening. No middleman, no reseller mark-up — you pay factory prices for it.

Caring for canvas blinds

  • Roll blinds up when strong wind is expected — canvas is tough, but wind load is what damages fittings.
  • Let the canvas dry before rolling it up for long periods, so damp fabric never sits stored.
  • Rinse with clean water and a soft brush; avoid high-pressure washers and harsh solvents.
  • Have the mechanics checked and lubricated every year or two — we service what we install.
